Rob Awe

Bass & Vocals

Rob started his bass career in High school with a couple of friends playing their favorite rock songs in the school talent shows but, after high school they all went their separate ways. He played in a few “garage bands” and after a couple years of that he decided to put music on hold.

In the early 2000’s he got a call from his buddy, he was forming a band and was looking for a bass player.  That call sparked his love for music again and started his adventure in the local music scene.  He was in several local bands including Kickstart, The Choppers, Lady Luck, and Steel Orchid.  After Steel Orchid, he was not able to find the right group of people or band to call home so he laid low.  That is until he got the call to join his friends in POP Syndrome.

When he is not playing with POP Syndrome, he likes spending time with family (being bossed around by his daughter), riding his motorcycle, watching movies, or hanging out with friends.

One of his favorite memories of playing was at Brainerd International Raceway in front of several thousand people all singing and dancing along with the music.
